Meadow Lark Farm Dinners

This was the first day, early in the season, that Beau was learning to play the fresh pasta guitar in Meadow Lark's bus, Bella. I was talking about Broadway and Beau asked me who Sondheim was. Beau is the one who will find the child's keyboard at a party and play Satie out on the patio. Someone will have to let Beau know it is raining and then help him bring the keyboard in, where he will switch over to Chopin with rain dripping off his forehead. Beau will try grilling the bread on the hot grill, but he is really not your best choice for tasks that require speed mixed with smoke. By the end of the summer, the pasta was being cut perfectly, the grilled bread was not burnt, and Beau knew who Sondheim was.
