Across the country, almost every parent is involved with the sports obsessions of their kids. Teams practices, equipment, lessons, games, victory & defeat, glory & heartbreak and about a zillion emails each day organizing it all. Parents trying to help their kids hit the ball, while also letting the coaches do their job. Coaches playing with the fine line of being hard on the kids to achieve their best while also letting them figure it out on their own.

Over the past year, I have been working all over the country on a remarkable project on the emotional side of Youth Sports for Dick’s Sporting Goods. Dick’s is a big believer and supporter of youth sports creating community and opportunities for kids to grow.

We're capturing the moments of exaltation and the moments of defeat...and everything else. They are the moments you see everyday but never think to capture. When you step back and look at the project as a whole, there is a shared connection across all the teams.

In the end it is not about winning and losing - it is about the journey.
